Nervous
Still nervous, but excited!!!

Here we go, waiting (heart pounding out of my chest) for our journey to begin. After a plethora of tearful and joyous goodbyes, Neil and I anxiously await the unknown. Although cliché, words truly cannot describe how I currently feel (but I will try my best). While the engine rumbles outside, I hear each movement of my watch. Musingly, I think about the future and constructing amazing mistakes in a foreign country that Neil and I can cry and laugh about after this yearlong journey concludes. Curiously, I wonder everyone’s purpose in this room. My mind construes new questions as it becomes aware of the knowledge soon to be gained. Eagerly, I await a new culture of understanding of something I cannot describe yet.
